Seeing, apart from the basic connotation of the word, is fittingly also an astronomic term, defining the transparency of the atmosphere when looking
at distant stars or universes. The recurring image here is of the Helsinki Observatory, built back in the 19th C, but still in active use. I have seen this
tool of Seeing the universe through a 500mm camera lens with various levels of seeing; and various qualities of light, as we human beings perceive it.

SEEING SETS 1 to 4 consist each of 16 images, sized 42*30cm (framed 49*37), of which a matrix of 3x3 images is displayed, as in the opening page. Images in the matrix must be changed from time to time. All or at least some of the remaining images should be shown as single pieces in adjoining spaces (other walls, other rooms), There are also individual images and sets of three images in the SEEING series in larger sizes. (Not for the time being displayed here)
